Here’s a step-by-step guide to create your Google Business Profile:

1. Sign In to Google My Business

Go to Google My Business and sign in with the Google account you want to link to your business.

Click “Manage now” to start setting up your business.

2. Add Your Business Name and Category

Enter your business name as it appears to customers.

Select the category that best represents your business. This helps Google show your profile in relevant search results.

3. Enter Your Location

Choose if you want your business to appear on Google Maps.

For storefronts, enter your business address.

For service-area businesses, select “Yes” under "I deliver goods and services to my customers" and specify your service area (city, neighborhood, etc.).

4. Add Contact Information

Enter your phone number and website URL so customers can reach you. This information is optional but helpful for engagement.

5. Verify Your Business

Google requires verification to ensure you are the actual business owner. Verification methods may include:

Mail: Google will send a postcard with a verification code to your business address.

Phone or Email: Available for select businesses; you’ll receive a code via phone or email.

Follow the instructions in the verification message to complete this step.

6. Customize Your Profile

Add Photos: Upload images of your business, products, team, and logo to give customers a glimpse of your offerings and brand personality.

Write a Description: Use a brief, clear description to share what makes your business unique and what customers can expect.

Add Offers & Posts: Use the “Posts” section to share updates, promotions, or events.

Business Hours: Specify your hours of operation, including holiday hours if applicable.

7. Optimize and Manage Your Profile Regularly

Keep your profile updated with current information, and respond to customer reviews to build trust and engagement.

Use the Insights feature to track how customers are interacting with your profile, such as calls, clicks, and views.

Following these steps will help you create and maintain an effective Google Business Profile that attracts and engages customers.
